Utility Planning Manager – Bury Town Centre

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing utility systems and identify areas for improvement and expansion
• Develop comprehensive utility infrastructure planning strategies
• Coordinate with internal teams, external subcontracts, energy suppliers and government agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project plans, including budget estimates, timelines, and resource requirements
• Manage and oversee utility projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise the design and implementation of utility systems
• Monitor project progress, conduct regular site visits, and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise

Requirements

• Proven experience in utility planning, in multi-utility preferable in gas and electricity
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, regulations and industry best practices
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively
• Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools for utility planning and project management
