Shift Engineer - GAP – Blackburn

We have a new and unique position within our Engineering team to welcome on board a Manufacturing Engineer.

Role Overview

Shift: Continental 3 Shift Pattern – 8 Hour shifts 6-2/2-10/10-6

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the maintenance team within a large PVC manufacturing company in Blackburn! We are currently seeking an experienced maintenance engineer with an electrical bias, who has ideally worked within an FMCG environment and has proven knowledge of electrical fault-finding techniques and the ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings. (Ladder diagrams)

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a range of machinery, including PLC controlled CNC, MTA Chillers, Packing & Wrapping, Atlantic wash for glass, Elumatec 3 axis CNC, High-pressure injection, Rotox CNC/PLC controlled welders, PLC-controlled vacuum, HPC air compressors, Sandblasting machines, and SCM 5 axis CNC, Elumetec CNC saw.
