Crown Oil Environmental is evolving, and as a result, we are offering more opportunities to join our team. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced forecourt fuel engineer and pipefitter. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fuel tank and pipe systems at various sites across the UK. Your expertise in forecourt piping systems and experience working with fuel tanks will be valuable assets in this position.

Key responsibilities

Install pipework systems according to blueprints and specifications, including bunded UPP and steel

Inspect fuel pipe systems for defects or leaks and make necessary repairs

Perform routine maintenance on fuel tank systems, including cleaning and lubricating components

Test fuel tank and pipework systems for proper functioning and safety

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan and execute fuel tank system installations and upgrades

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with forecourt tank systems and implement appropriate solutions

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment

Skills and experience required

At least two years of experience as a fuel pipefitter, specifically working with fuel tank systems on forecourts

Strong knowledge of fuel tank system components and their functions

Familiarity with various types of pipes and fittings used in fuel tank systems, such as threaded steel pipework, Geberit Mapress, and plastic HDPE fusion welded pipework

Ability to use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble piping systems

Detail-oriented mindset and ability to work with precision

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex situations

Desirable accreditations include Confined Space, IPAF, PASMA, and Petrol Safety passport

A driving license and CSCS card are essential to be considered
