Mid-Level PHP Developer – Bury

Crown Oil is seeking a mid-level PHP developer to join our fantastic team in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress as a developer, working on an enterprise SaaS in an ambitious and constantly expanding company.

We are looking for someone with experience with PHP (inc. frameworks i.e. Symfony, Laravel etc), MySQL, JavaScript (e.g. jQuery/Node/React), HTML, CSS and a good understanding of developing high performance and scalable code with an excellent knowledge of object orientated programming fundamentals

Key Responsibilities

Create new system from initial stages through to live
Maintain and modify new systems
Ensure all business applications are supported to a high standard and incidents, requests and problems are resolved within a timely manner
Contributes ideas and efforts towards the development and delivery of service improvement initiatives and related Business Application Support projects
Help conduct live releases for all business applications

Key Experience/Skills

Commercial PHP developing experience with native code as well as frameworks
Proficient in HTML/CSS
JavaScript / JQuery is a must – Knowledge/experience with Node or React is advantageous.
Good SQL skills
Knowledge of using Twig
Experience with Symfony
Excellent knowledge and experience of web security
The ideal candidate must be a driven and confident individual
