Class 1 Tramping Driver – Blackburn

Key responsibilities

Based out of our Central Distribution Hub in Blackburn, the routes will cover our nationwide depots transporting stock and made to order products where required with overnight stays required. Loading and unloading products will be required at depots ensuring our company image is maintained at a high standard at all times.

You will be responsible for the upkeep of the vehicle and trailer, reporting any issues to the transport administrator if identified. Housekeeping and cleanliness must also be a priority. All tacho + driver hour rules & regulations must be adhered to as well as practicing safe and fuel-efficient driving at all times.

Skills and experience required

Required attributes

• A clean, valid Class 1 driving license with the ability to drive class C+E vehicles
• 2 years Class 1 driving experience
• Physically fit
• Numerate & literate

Desired attributes

• FLT experience C/B and combi
• Product knowledge
