Transport Administrator – Bury

Crown Oil have a great opportunity for a transport administrator to join our transport team at our yard in Bury. The role involves day to day planning/routing of our daily deliveries in and around the North West, as well as general administration duties from managing delivery documentation to ensuring compliance with current transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and chase documentation in support of the transport operation

Plan and route daily deliveries

Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet the needs of the Transport Department

Answer and respond to all incoming calls promptly and politely

Ensure all internal/external customer queries or concerns are dealt with in a professional, friendly and courteous manner

Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience in a transportation or administration role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required
