About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our rapidly growing development team in Bury. In this role, you will play a key part in building and scaling modern web applications. We heavily invest in a modern tech stack and look for engineers who are passionate about writing clean, maintainable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices. You will work closely with a collaborative, tight-knit internal team to develop robust backend logic and interactive, reactive frontend interfaces.
Core Technical Stack
Backend: PHP 8+, Laravel Framework
Frontend: Vue 3 (Composition API), TypeScript
Database: MySQL
Testing: PHPUnit
DevOps & Tools: Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Soketi / WebSockets
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, and Vue 3.
Write clean, secure, and well-documented code adhering to PSR standards.
Implement automated testing using PHPUnit to support a TDD workflow.
Collaborate on frontend architectures using TypeScript and the Vue 3 Composition API.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and manage CI/CD deployment pipelines via GitHub Actions.
Participate in code reviews and collaborate closely with the growing engineering team.
Required Skills & Experience
Commercial experience as a PHP Developer or Full Stack Developer using Laravel.
Strong proficiency with frontend JavaScript frameworks, specifically Vue.js (Vue 3 experience is highly desirable).
Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
Experience with TypeScript and writing automated tests (PHPUnit).
Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern deployment workflows.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative office environment.
