The Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven Settlements Analyst to join our team.

This is a critical role within the business, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of industry charges and internal data. You’ll play a key part in protecting business revenue by identifying discrepancies, validating costs, and improving data processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Validating and reconciling industry invoices to ensure accuracy of charges

• Investigating discrepancies and resolving billing/data issues

• Managing AQ (Annual Quantity) appeals through industry file flows

• Maintaining and improving internal data accuracy

• Producing regular reports and monthly packs for senior management

• Supporting improvements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency

• Performing data cleansing, validation, and analysis tasks

• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve data and billing issues

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong numerical and analytical ability

• Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Pivot Tables, IF statements)

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to investigate and solve data discrepancies

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Confident working independently and managing workload

Desirable

• Experience in a data, finance, or analytical role

• Knowledge of the utilities/energy industry

• Experience with VBA or automation tools
