Digital Marketing Executive – Social Media & Content

The Role
You’ll be part of Crown Oil’s established marketing team, supporting the Crown Energy division. While you’ll benefit from the collaboration of an experienced marketing team, you’ll also have the autonomy to manage your own content and contribute ideas across our digital marketing channels.
This is a hands-on digital marketing role focused on social media management and digital content creation that promotes Crown Energy’s commercial services to businesses, contractors and developers.
You’ll create engaging content across our social media platforms and digital channels, helping showcase our projects, services and expertise to a B2B audience.
This role would suit someone with 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, social media management or content marketing, ideally within a B2B or service-led business.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to email marketing campaigns and digital communications, so the role would suit someone who has either gained some exposure to email marketing or is keen to develop their skills in this area.

Crown Energy is a growing utility connections business helping developers, contractors and businesses get connected to essential services including gas, electricity and water.
Working across infrastructure and development projects throughout the UK, we deliver specialist utility solutions that keep projects moving.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
• Create engaging social media content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
• Design graphics and posts using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Plan and schedule social media activity across company channels
• Write engaging captions and messaging that drive engagement and brand awareness
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve results
Digital Content
• Create digital content that supports marketing campaigns and brand awareness
• Produce website content, blog posts and marketing materials
• Work with internal teams to capture project updates, service highlights and company news
• Assist with the creation of digital assets including graphics, carousels and short-form video
• Help maintain website content using WordPress CMS
Email Marketing
• Create and send email marketing campaigns and newsletters
• Write email content for marketing campaigns and audience communication
• Track campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates and engagement
About You
• 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, social media management or content creation
• Experience creating marketing content within a B2B or service-led organisation
• Confident using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong written communication and copywriting skills
• Creative, organised and able to manage multiple projects
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative marketing team
Desirable
• Exposure to email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot or similar tools
• Experience using WordPress or another CMS platform
• Basic video editing skills
• Awareness of SEO or digital marketing analytics tools
