The Role
This role sits within our specialist metering team and focuses on managing and resolving data issues that impact customer billing and meter accuracy.
You’ll be working with internal teams, metering partners, and industry systems to investigate discrepancies, ensure data is accurate, and keep everything running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the energy sector (e.g. metering, billing, or operations) who enjoys working with data and solving problems.
What You’ll Be Doing
Investigating and resolving data discrepancies relating to meters and readings
Ensuring customer and billing data is accurate across internal and industry systems
Managing meter-related updates (e.g. installations, exchanges, removals)
Working with metering partners (e.g. MAMs) and other suppliers to resolve issues
Supporting smart meter and AMR processes
Monitoring and resolving rejected or failed meter readings
Producing reports and working with data to identify issues
Liaising with internal teams, customers, and third parties
What We’re Looking For
Experience working in the energy sector (e.g. metering, billing, operations, or data roles)
OR experience working with complex data and investigating issues
Strong Excel skills (e.g. lookups, pivot tables, working with large datasets)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable:
Experience working with metering data, MAMs, or AMR/smart meters
Previous experience within an energy supplier or third-party metering provider
