We’re hiring an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join the UK’s largest fuel and alternative fuel supplier and winner of the UKIFDA Green Award.

The Role

Due to unprecedented growth, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Coordinator to join our vibrant marketing team. Ideally, you’ll have at least 2 years’ experience under your belt across a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. You’ll be self-motivated and comfortable working in our friendly and collaborative marketing team based in Bury, Greater Manchester and are ready to take on your next challenge.

You will be working directly with the Marketing Campaign Manager and wider team across all marketing platforms.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns across several companies within the Group (social, email and content)
  • Email campaign delivery, including setup, template, build, target, segment and deployment (MailChimp)
  • Make ongoing improvements to subscriber experience when they are added, changed, or unsubscribed
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis to help generate leads
  • Carry out market research and competitor analysis to produce optimised blog and web content for a multitude of websites
  • Maintain a number of websites within the Group with up-to-date information, including building pages in our WordPress CMS
  • Create and edit copy for various marketing channels to ensure consistent tone of voice
  • Work with the SEO team to improve Google ranking
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals
  • Create branded marketing collateral to support the wider business

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role with a firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels and best practices
  • Knowledge of a mix of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing
  • Impeccable knowledge of email best-practices
  • A proven track record of delivering leads through inbound, outbound, and nurture efforts in a commercially focused marketing role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to self-prioritise tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • High level of creativity
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and WordPress
