Is Your Workplace Environmentally Friendly?

An environmentally friendly office not only reflects well as a business, but it can also positively impact colleague health, morale and productivity too. Whether you’re a small enterprise or a large corporate business, going green doesn’t have to be complicated or costly – in fact, it can often help your bottom line.

It can however, be a little tricky to get people on board – especially if they have different views on how much they want to help.

We’ve put together a quick infographic with some simple tips that you can implement to help improve your office’s ecosystem.

How is the Crown Oil Group committed to the environment?

With the nature of our business, it’s unavoidable that we emit harmful greenhouse gas emissions when making our deliveries across the UK. The Crown Oil Group takes environmental matters seriously. That’s why we’re passionate about reducing our environmental footprint elsewhere.

We offset all of our delivery mileage – and we’ve been doing so since 2008. What does this mean exactly?

At no extra cost to our customers, for every gallon of fuel that we use to deliver our fuels and lubricants, we pay an environmental agency to reduce the equivalent amount of carbon being released into the atmosphere. This funding goes towards projects like tree planting and wildlife conservation. Offsetting all of our delivery mileage effectively makes our deliveries carbon neutral.

We also provide a number of green fuels and encourage all of our customers to replace their fossil fuels with these cleaner fuels, such as HVO biofuel, Carbon Offset Red Diesel, and CHP Biofuel.
